Hey you guys! Happy Tuesday!! So excited to be back today with another podcast episode. This week I’m answering listener questions about dinner ideas to make for your stubborn cowboy, how to introduce new foods on your dinner table, how to deal, or “recover” after falling off the wagon, and how not to feel guilty around food. Also talk about snacks I’m loving and not loving, a few brand I’ve been trying and loving, and also sharing a tip of the week!! Also, be sure to sign up for my Friday newsletter to receive my homemade pumpkin spice latte recipe!!! It’s refined sugar free, paleo…all the things!! Thanks so much for listening and be sure to leave a comment if you have any questions for next weeks episode!
Two chocolate brand I’ve been loving sweetened with only Stevia / Honey! I can’t remember the name of the other chocolate bar I had. It was sweetened with honey only and it was so good! But, until I remember…I really want to try these two brands. Eating Evolved and Hu! Have you tried either of them, and did you like them?
Happy Monday! I hope you guys had a wonderful weekend! Today I’m sharing this look as “What to wear to a Fall Wedding” as I think sometimes it can be hard to find the right colored dress for a wedding, especially as the seasons are starting to change! This is a great “inbetweener dress.” Where we are in California, sometimes through October, the weather during the day is still really warm, but the nights cool off. For this outfit, I would definitely grab a pashmina, like this one!
One thing I always look for when buying a dress with spaghetti straps, is if it comes with any sort of adjustability. I think when wearing a tighter fitting dress with skinny straps, It’s important that you take the time to adjust the straps so the dress sits properly! I love that this dress has adjustable straps. Also, I will say that although my shoes are a few years old, having a pair of black sandals and nude heeled sandals have been such a no brainer in my wardrobe. I am constantly grabbing them, and if you don’t have black and nude sandals, I would think about investing in both! I have these in nude, but I also love these.
Also, if you’re looking for more than one dress, check out the line of Bardot Dresses at Nordstrom. They really have a ton of great style, colors, and silhouettes!
Happy Thursday loves! Today I’m sharing this cozy, chic outfit. This Fall, sweaters are really in. That sounds stupid…sweaters are always in for fall! But, really….tons of sweaters are making an appearance. Oversized sweaters, cardigans, sweaters with big cuffs, sweaters with a big knit, sweaters with big cowl necks, or off the shoulder sweaters! You get the picture 😉 That being said, I think it’s important to know how to dress up a sweater this Fall.
So for me, I have a few basic guidelines when choosing jeans to compliment a top. Since this sweater is really an oversized fit, I chose tight fitting jeans. I like playing with sizes and shapes in my wardrobe, and think that baggie, boyfriend style jeans for this outfit, for example wouldn’t be a good fit. If I’m wearing a loose top, I definitely look for a tighter bottom, and visa versa. It’s all a matter of playing with your wardrobe pieces and seeing where you’re most comfortable. I will say, I do love a good pair of flared dark denim for Fall, and I would wear this sweater with tight flared denim. 🙂 Please comment and let me know if you find this type of style info helpful:) I want to cater to what YOU want to see! Hope you have a great day!! xo
