Plaid + Leopard

Vest: J.Crew Turtleneck: J.Crew Jeans: Nordstrom, STS “piper” Flats: J.Crew Glasses: BP Similar here Bracelet: here Lipstick: MAC in color “fireworks”

Happy Tuesday!! Today’s look is all about mixing my favorite two patterns, plaid and leopard. I’ve talked about mixing these two patterns before, as I think it’s the easiest way to transition into mixing patterns. You can see my latest post on this topic, HERE.

This red tartan plaid vest is such a practical and fashionable piece. Over the years I’ve had multiple versions of this same vest from J.Crew, and in my opinion, they never go out of style. It’s a great option to plan an outfit around, or throw in the car to have as a backup if the weather drops. Not only is it warm, but I love the design of the back being a slight bit longer than the front. This design makes this vest easier and more flattering to wear with pants.

Also, when it comes to leopard, you guys know I’m the biggest sucker. I just can’t help it! Leopard to me is a neutral and I love leopard in all forms of clothing and accessories -from skirts to beanies – I’m obsessed! These leopard flats are a new addition to my leopard collection and I will be wearing them nonstop!

Gifts for YOU

Happy Thursday!! I’ve rounded up some gifts for you today on the blog 🙂 I will say that I could not recommend Beauty Counter products enough. If you haven’t heard of them…here’s a quick rundown.  This is my real opinion and not sponsored but their product is super “clean,” and doesn’t contain any harsh chemicals. They are the only company who has actually done the research and are educating consumers about the dangerous and harsh chemicals that the USA doesn’t regulate against. Europe has 1500 ingredients on their list that are banned whereas the US has like 3. It’s pretty pathetic and I’m happy and proud to use a product that is chemical free and good for my skin!

Happy Tuesday! I love a good ruffle…whether it be on a top, skirt or dress..ruffles are so fun and playful! This ruffle sweater is gorgeous and I love the little cut out’s it has as well, so subtle and cute!

I’ve actually had the coat I’m wearing since high school! I know, hard to believe but good quality pieces really last! I think it’s important to have a camel or light colored trench in your closet. It’s great to go over jeans, dresses, etc. especially for cooler days when it’s not freezing but you need a more dressed up coverup! I found this one that I absolutely love and it is a great price for such a beautiful jacket!

Also, my necklace comes in a ton of different colors and would make a fabulous Christmas gift!
