Happy Thursday guys! I don’t know about you…but my bachelorette party is a week away!! Whooo! I couldn’t be more excited for all my girls to fly and drive in for a weekend of fun, relaxation and maybe a little wine drinking ;). Not only have my bridesmaids been asking me what to wear, but I have been getting questions from a lot of you asking me what to pack or wear for a bachelorette weekend!
First things first…ask the MOH (if you haven’t received it already) for the schedule. This will be ultra helpful when you pack so you can know you’re bringing the right outfits, and most importantly, the right shoes.
My party and I are off to Carmel for the weekend! If you have never been…a lot of streets in their shopping areas are cobblestones. My immediate reaction is to bring flats and flat sandals! No one wants to be walking around looking uncomfortable in high wedges for shopping. Amiright?
Another thing to check in about is the attire for dinner. We are doing one fancy night and the other not as dressed up. I’ve included a LBD outfit in my collage that would be perfect for a more dressed up night! How cute are these espadrilles and this clutch?!
Also, something I would highly recommend would be bringing a few casual dresses (like this one or this one) or alternatively, a pair of jean shorts or white pants and a few cute tops (love this one and this one). I find when I travel I always plan my fancier outfits and bring all the accessories for it, but for my casual outfits I’m always looking for more options while getting ready.
One of the best things in my mind about Carmel are the quaint neighborhoods. I know we are planning on taking a casual stroll in the morning before breakfast one day, maybe grabbing a cup of coffee and enjoying the view of the ocean and the adorable cottages. I will always throw in a pair sneaks wherever I’m going. I seriously feel like I wear them every time. Having a pair of cute, lightweight sneakers like these is great to always have on hand!
Lastly, a pool or beach outfit. I don’t know if we will get to utilize our beach time…sometimes the weather can be a bit foggy and overcast in Carmel, but most bach parties in the summer involve LOTS of pool time which is super super fun! SO be sure to throw in a suit or two, like this ADORABLE bikini (top + bottom) and a neutral coverup to go with all your suit options!
I hope this helps and if you have any questions or comments about what to pack, leave me a comment below! xo
