These deviled eggs are healthy, easy and delicious. They’re easy to make and super cost effective if you need to whip something up for a party on a budget. I made them on a whim for me and Austin on Superbowl Sunday. I just started adding things we had in the fridge and they turned out great!!
To make them, start by boil the eggs – we put the eggs in our pot with water, bring them to a boil and as soon as the water is boiling, we turn them off, put the top on and let them sit there and cook for 10 min. As soon as that time is up, we rinse them in a cold bath to stop them from cooking any longer.
Peel off shells and discard, cut them in half, scoop out the yolks with a little tea spoon (much easier than a big spoon or knife? I don’t know why you would try a knife, but I did…so don’t). Put yolks in a bowl and mush up with the following ingredients (below). Put the yolk mixture back into the egg halves. Once you do that, sprinkle with paprika and chives and service! xo
You will need:
6 Eggs (I used 6 organic, cage free)
1/8 C diced Jarred Jalepenos (We use “Slightly Tamed”)
Paprika and chives (for garnish only)
Nature’s Seasoning or salt and pepper A few good shakes of each to taste
6 shakes Tabasco (modify to your liking)
Serve on this platter and enjoy! xo
