Happy Monday guys!! I’m back from Spain and today I’m talking about how to wear two bold colors. Sometimes the best way to wear bold colors together is to pick one (like my dress) that kind of steals the show, and have the second (my earrings) be the runner up. It helps balance the look so you’re not wearing a huge block of yellow and a huge block of pink.
I have like 50 million weddings this summer, so I’m always looking for cute dresses (like this one) I can wear multiple times. This sounds super weird but a lot of wedding we attend are outside…I’ve been to two weddings where I wore a fit and flare dress…the wind came up, and I had a little Marilyn Monroe moment, and not in a good way!! It’s important to consider the weather when attending an outdoor wedding. I love this dress because it is not flowy on the bottom, so no wind could swoop it up, but this dress is pretty and flowy on the top!
So on top of traveling, you guys know we also moved a few weeks ago. I forced myself to throw away some wedges from a few years ago that I still loved but that looked less than cute to continue wearing. I didn’t however want to break the bank, so I bought these $52 cork wedges because they literally go with everything and are super comfy and easy to wear! I highly recommend these wedges!!!
Also, I’ve been super into statement earrings lately, and BaubleBar just constantly nails it. For $36 you can totally update any summer look you already own! Seriously so good. Check out this post I did a few weeks ago rounding up my fav statement earrings for under $40! I hope you all have LOVELY days!! Xo
